Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Slushie (Print Version)

Icy strawberry and lemon blend with bright citrus, balanced sweetness and optional mint or lemon garnish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups frozen strawberries
02 - 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
03 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar, or to taste

→ Optional Garnish

04 - Lemon slices
05 - Fresh mint leaves

# How To Make It:

01 - Measure 2 cups frozen strawberries, juice enough lemons to yield 1 cup (about 4 lemons), and measure 1/3 cup granulated sugar. If using fresh garnishes, slice lemon and prepare mint.
02 - Place the frozen strawberries, lemon juice and granulated sugar into a high-speed blender.
03 - Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy; pause and scrape the sides as needed. If a thinner consistency is desired, add up to 1/2 cup cold water or a few ice cubes and blend again.
04 - Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more sugar, honey or agave if preferred. Pour into two glasses, garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves, and serve immediately.

# Top Tips:

01 -
  • This slushie tastes like a sunshine-soaked secret only you and summer know.
  • It honestly takes five minutes and not a moment more, which means fruity refreshment is never far away.
02 -
  • Once, I tried to rush with regular (not frozen) berries and ended up with a sad, soupy drink—always start with everything frozen.
  • Swapping in honey made the flavor softer, almost floral—so now I change it depending on who's coming over.
03 -
  • Let your lemons sit at room temperature, then give them a strong roll on the counter to get every bit of juice.
  • Pour over ice if you want it even colder, or use sparkling water for a fizzy version that feels extra special.
