# How To Make It:
- Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions and lightly grease the cooking surfaces with coconut oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and cardamom until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together almond milk, eggs, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and orange zest until fully incorporated.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing. The batter should be thick yet pourable; add additional milk if necessary for desired consistency.
- Ladle approximately ½ to ¾ cup of batter into the preheated waffle iron per waffle. Cook according to manufacturer's specifications, typically 4–5 minutes, until golden and crispy on the exterior.
- Remove cooked waffles and transfer to a warm plate. Continue cooking remaining batter using the same method.
- Arrange hot waffles on serving plates and top with yogurt, fresh fruit, honey or syrup drizzle, and nuts or seeds as desired.
